    Creating safe spaces for public engagement; strengthening media capacity and integrity; promoting constructive citizen-government dialogue; connecting digital and offline civic actions; and advancing comprehensive civic education

    Multi-Actor Collaborations for Governance & Accountability

    Increasing public awareness of governance processes; promoting institutional responsiveness and transparency; and fundamentally expanding citizen participation in policy-making and oversight.

    Our Approach

    Strong institutions and systems are key to ensuring healthy, productive lives for citizens

    By combining the dynamism of digital platforms with the offline community engagements, JamiiAfrica aims to build a democratic ecosystem where voices are heard and governments respond. We aim at creating a more informed citizenry, more responsive governments and increased citizen participation in various development agendas (political participation, governance, livelihood and digital economy). We aim not to only empower citizens, partners and the media but also forge a resilient democracy that supports development and societal progress.
