Strong institutions and systems are key to ensuring healthy, productive lives for citizens

By combining the dynamism of digital platforms with the offline community engagements, JamiiAfrica aims to build a democratic ecosystem where voices are heard and governments respond. We aim at creating a more informed citizenry, more responsive governments and increased citizen participation in various development agendas (political participation, governance, livelihood and digital economy). We aim not to only empower citizens, partners and the media but also forge a resilient democracy that supports development and societal progress.

We have 5 approaches to reach our goal…

    4. Collaborating to integrate innovative, digital-first democratic tools directly within traditional government structures

    5. Strengthening the capabilities of civil society and independent media in modern, data-driven advocacy approaches
