Jamii Forums, widely known for advancing accountability and citizen engagement through digital platforms, has rebranded as JamiiAfrica. On April 24, 2025, the organization launched its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, marking a new chapter focused on strengthening collaboration, transparency, and sustainable development across Tanzania and beyond.
While continuing to manage the JamiiForums.com platform, the transition to JamiiAfrica reflects an expanded mission: to promote digital participatory democracy, deepen citizen involvement in development agendas, and build stronger partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
