JamiiAfrica is a regional civic-tech non-governmental organization headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. We work to build an informed citizenry, strengthen responsive governance, and promote active citizen participation in governance, livelihoods, and the digital economy. By leveraging technology, we expand civic engagement and support sustainable development across the region.
We create open, inclusive, and secure spaces for meaningful dialogue, working with like-minded partners to promote citizen-centered participation. At the heart of our work is a commitment to digital democracy, empowering citizens to shape transparent, accountable, and inclusive societies both online and offline.
