The event brought together more than 1,000 participants, including youth leaders, civil society actors, educators, policymakers, and peace advocates from Tanzania and beyond. The forum provided a vital platform for sharing strategies and strengthening the role of young people in peacebuilding, social cohesion, and conflict prevention.

Held under the theme “Youth4Peace: Act Now for a Peaceful World,” the forum underscored the power of youth-led initiatives in fostering peace and security in the digital age. During the event, JamiiAfrica engaged in an insightful session titled “Youth & Digital Security: Protecting the Future,” which focused on key challenges such as cyberbullying, misinformation, hate speech, and the need to transform digital platforms into safe and empowering spaces for peace and civic engagement.

In its contribution, JamiiAfrica emphasized the importance of bridging online and offline engagements to foster meaningful, complementary conversations that promote inclusivity and collective action. The organization urged young people to uphold respect and empathy in digital interactions, values they practice offline as well.
