On July 9, 2024, Jamii Forums had the honor of hosting H.E. Mette Nørgaard Dissing-Spandet, the Danish Ambassador to Tanzania, at our offices in Dar es Salaam.
Her visit was both an opportunity to reflect on the strong relationship built over the years and an official farewell as she concluded her distinguished service in Tanzania. During her tenure, Ambassador Dissing-Spandet has been a valued supporter of open dialogue, civic engagement, and citizen participation, areas closely aligned with Jamii Forums’ mission.
We deeply appreciate her contributions and the collaboration she fostered, which have left a lasting impact on our work and the broader civic space in Tanzania. As she embarks on her next chapter, we extend our warmest wishes for continued success in her future endeavors.
