Hello guys, I am currently in Kilosa – Morogoro. Today am bringing you some photos of flood victims in this District which I took recently.
A poster on the building which used to deal with industrial issues in Kilosa is no longer operating and the building is now being used by the floods victims at the Mazulia camp. It was not once known why did the operations stopped.
An old man who lives alone in one the 23 full suits at Mazulia camp on the preparations to start cooking dinner. Since he is old he spends more than five hours to prepare his dinner. Mazuria needs more 187 full suits to accommodate 138 families.
The two little boys at the Mazulia Camp was caught by my camera in front of their tent cooking as the mother left them at home without saying a word to them and it was already ten hours since she left home.
A woman identified by the name of Tatu Mavunga and her two grandsons in their tent which accommodates six member of the family, others not on the photo. The tent is being divided into four parts to allow privacy to the family.
For Tatu Mavunga to buy charcoal for Sh 500 it is expensive so instead she walks 1km to collect firewood in the forest
